clean and reset 23 of the headstones. The cemetery dates back
to the early 1800s, and is the final resting place of a number
of notable figures from the area, including several of the
original members of the lodge.

Fulton
Friendship Lodge Honors Its Past
Masters
May 5th,
2009
In partial
celebration of its newly renovated facilities, Fulton
Friendship Lodge No. 102 in Park Ridge held a special
dinner on May 5th, 2009 to honor its Past Masters.
An extraordinary 17 of the lodge’s 21 living Past Masters came
to the event, and were awarded plaques in recognition of their
service to the lodge. Many of the masters traveled
considerable distances (e.g. from Florida and North Carolina)
to be present for the occasion, making the event a reunion for
brethren who have not seen each other in decades, and well as
a first meeting occasion for the newer lodge members. The
lodge was particularly pleased to welcome 100-year young WB
Harry Rosenblatt, Past Master in 1955, who came all the way
from Miami
to be honored with his brethren.
On hand
for the celebration were Guest of Honor RW Glenn Trautmann
JGW, as well as MW Gerald Grosskopf PGM, RW Andrew Freda
3rd DDGM, RW Jeffrey Chan GC, RW Daniel Schultz GH,
plus numerous other Right Worshipfuls and Past Masters. The
event was a momentous one for Fulton Friendship Lodge, one
sure to be remembered for years to come by its
brethren.
